The Hakki Pilke Eagle is a simple
logging bench with a screw
splitter. It consists of a PTO
driven circular saw 700mm (28")
in diameter which can saw logs
up to 250mm (10") in diameter
(see image 3). The log to be cut
is placed in the hinged trough,
which has adjustable support
rollers. An adjustable stop
enables the user to saw each log
to the desired length. The cut
logs fall into a collecting tray,
from which they can easily be
transferred to the 100mm(4")
screw splitter
The traditional way of making firewood; cutting timber with a circular saw
and dividing it with a splitting cone.
- First cut the trunk of a tree into stumps of the desired length and then split
each stump with a splitting cone.
- Power options: tractor engine, electric drive (4kw) or combustion engine 5.5hp.
- HAKKI PILKE eagle is suitable for both big and small logs and it is easy to
use and transport.
